Staying at The Solluna Resort is actually staying in the Jim Corbett National Park’s reserve area only. In order to enter the stipulated area, one needs to explore the various ways of safari offered at the property.

Jeep Safari : It is a quick and a safe way to explore the wildness of Jim Corbett National Park. The Solluna jeep safari can take approx 5 – 6 persons on board in one go with a trained driver and a nature guide to explore the topography and wilderness of Corbett. It is the easiest way to cover the stipulated area designated for the game drive. Safari in open jeeps can cover wildlife ranges of Bijrani / Jharna / Durga Deva / Lohachaur distinctly. Duration for each game drive is for approx 4-5 hours and can be conducted in early morning hours, afternoon as well as in the evening before the sun sets.

Game drive visitors are suggested to wear natural colour clothing and obey the forest rules. Guides play a vital role in leading the ways in the jungle and spotting animals even when on the move. Please do not get off the jeeps during the safari as it could be very dangerous for both humans as well as the animals. Ultimately the jungle is a home of animals and we need to save them from any disturbance caused from our actions.

Elephant Safari: The most unique way to explore the jungle is via Elephant Safari. No pollution and no speed, just you and the wild where the mystery is endless and untold. The travellers are suggested to have good amount of patience during the elephant game drives as their duration varies from 4-5 hours. Being one of the oldest forms of jungle exploration the elephant game drives can be enjoyed in the early morning hours, afternoon and even in the evening hours before the sun sets.

Bird Safari : Corbett is a divine place with almost 580 bird species. Solluna retreat in itself possesses a wide range of bird species which can be spotted in the early morning hours and before the dawn. Solluna’s nature guide accompanies the guests and shows them around within the boundaries of the resort, during the walk along the riverside and also in the vicinity of Solluna Waterfall. The duration of 2-3 hours is a pleasure for the eyes and soul, giving ample chances for spotting the glittering and bright colour birds in their natural habitat.

Fishing Safari :The availability of Mahsheer fish for the sport of fishing is a blessing in this region of Corbett. Mahsheer is a fresh water fish, which attains more importance then a wild cat when it comes to the sport of angling. It is talked about by the residents of Corbett as the live fish and a flying beauty. A complete omnivorous in feeding habits, as it enjoys eating snails, crabs and weeds like algae and much more. This fish is also known as a fish par excellence. Solluna being located on the bank of river Ramganga is known as the Fishers Paradise. One can find Mahsheer fish in abundance only in river Ramganga.
