Sot is the local name for a seasonal stream. While traversing the recreation centre you may cross a few of these bouldery dry streams. In spite of the fact that the vast majority of them seem dry and motionless, they are critical for the Recreation centre nature. Animal rely on upon these sots for their drinking water prerequisites for a decent piece of the year. There are a few sots in Corbett that are enduring, paramount ones being Paterpani, Laldhang, Kothirao, Jhirna, Dhara and Garjia. Since water is a constraining component, these lasting alcoholics give water to untamed life amid squeeze periods.
